ABOUT MICHAEL RIGGS

A man with tattoos on his arms, wearing a tan baseball cap with redhead logo, white t-shirt, and black pants, is sitting in a modern room with bookshelves, black and wood decorative elements, and black wall panels.

Michael Riggs is a men's coach, author, and mentor who helps husbands rebuild their marriages, reclaim their masculinity, and reject the modern checklist they've been handed for what a "successful life" is supposed to look like. He's the host of The Warrior Kings Podcast, where he covers marriage, masculinity, entrepreneurship, and the mindset shifts that separate the men who actually change their lives from the ones who just talk about it.

Michael's authority in this space wasn't built in a classroom — it was built out of failure. A previous relationship fell apart, and his life fell apart with it, because he didn't understand what it actually meant to be a man or how to communicate with a woman. Instead of numbing out or moving on, he became obsessed with the subject — studying masculinity, marriage, and communication until he understood exactly where he'd gone wrong and how to fix it. That obsession became Warrior King: Unlocking Masculinity, Manliness and the Warrior Spirit Within and Warrior Husband: How to Be a Better Husband and Save Your Marriage — and eventually, a coaching framework and The Reforged Husband online course, which he now uses to guide men one-on-one through the same transformation.

His approach is direct, not therapeutic. Michael doesn't believe in the marriage industry's usual playbook: couples counseling, communication exercises, splitting responsibilities down the middle. None of it fixes what's actually broken. His work starts with a different premise: the marriage doesn't change until the man does. Fix the man first, and the marriage follows.

Michael is a husband and father of six. He spent much of his childhood in Germany before settling in the Eastern United States, and he now lives in Florida. He left traditional schooling at an early age, and much of what shaped his outlook — his empathy, his drive, his refusal to accept a life handed to him by default — came out of real hardship he faced as a teenager rather than a conventional path.

Outside of coaching and writing, Michael is also a lifelong creator — a painter, designer, documentary and creative filmmaker, animator, and multi-instrumentalist. He's the author of the fiction works BLINK and Knights of Rodentia, and he's a vocal advocate for protecting imagination and creativity in children, and for creativity as an outlet at any age. It's the same underlying philosophy that runs through everything he does: build something real, on your own terms, instead of following someone else's script.
